Now, seriously,
1. Just call initialize again and it will return a new workflow instance every time.
2. There are several ways to attach the comments to the workflow, depending on the complexity you can use a JDBCPropertySet or you can create a whole domain model and associate a workflow identifier with each business entity.
Ask on the forum or privately if you need more help.
